Coulee's Story...
Is the Grand Coulee dam named after me? Or am I named after the Grand Coulee? I can’t remember. I can tell you one thing though. My heart can match that darn dam in size any ‘ol day!!! I’m a young dude, with lot’s and lot’s of love to give. I love people, dogs, and children too! Like any youngin’ I could use a little training and manners, but hey what do you expect? I bet if we went to school together I’d be top of my class! Don’t fret, I am crate trained already, eager to please and quite smart. So drop the floodgates and let my love come a flowin’! 18 months old-57lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes; neuter, microchip, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, reduced cost training class, leash/collar, toy & treat packet and food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coulee, a Portland Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Portland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
