Dodger's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Dodger's Story...
Dodger is a 3 month old male. He and his sister Darcy and brother Derby were born to a feral mother on Mother's Day 5/9/2010. Luckily the backyard they were living in belonged to a human who called on Stray Cat Blues for help when the kittens were 2 months old. They have been in foster care since then. Dodger is the most playful of the bunch. Almost anything sparks this handsome guy's interest! He loves to wrestle too! Currently his sparring partner is his sister Darcy. Dodger would love to find a forever home with some nice people and a nice cat or two to play with.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dodger, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
