Charro's Story...
Approx 2 year old Stafford-shire Terrier. Charro is a really happy, pretty girl, in her dark, "now" shiny coat. Maybe she'll never be perfect to some with her abuse scars, but to those, that know her, she is beautiful inside and out! You only have to look into her beautiful, amazing, soulful brown eyes to fall in love! This sweet little beauty has had a hard time in the last few years. Rescued from death row, she lived with her foster for about 8 months, then due to too many dogs and needing to move from bad neighbors, she went to what was thought to be a good trainer and boarding facility. NOT SO..She is sweet and trusting in nature, completely dog friendly, but was was attacked by bad dogs and then left with little food and almost forgotten. Once her rescuer discovered this horrible problem, it was on to the next place,, Tossed from one bad boarding to another- not anyone's fault- she was finally sent to a shelter as abuse evidence from starvation and mange. LBWF was asked to step in and we did. Now Charro is once again healthy, healed inside and out, beautiful and she is ready for her forever loving home. Yes, she has some scars from the past, but inside she is so sweet and loving and forgiving!! She loves to play ball, ever so lady like and go for nice long walks. She will just hang out or participate in whatever activity you might be doing. Only apply if you can give her the real love she deserves forever! She is healthy, spayed, up to date on all her shots! Only southern California homes due to home checks

About Linda Blair Worldheart Foundation

About Our Rescue Group...

The Linda Blair Worldheart Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit California Corporation. Our work includes education the public, and working with state, local and national authorities to put an end to pet overpopulation as well as working at the national level to end illegal dogfighting. We visit our local shelters and find abandoned pets on death row, and we give them a second chance at a loving, permanent home. We are one of the few California rescue groups that rescue mothers and newborns (from one to five weeks of age), due to the high fee required by many shelters for their release of unaltered females who need tocontinue nursing their young. These animals are the first to be put to death in shelters. Shelters are unable to raise kittens and puppies and newborns cannot survive the diseases often found in such closely held captive environments. We give our rescued animals immediate medical care, proper nutrition, grooming, and socialization training. We have a few loving foster homes, but we need more caring foster parents. This temporary care canlast up to a year so the animal can adjust and heal any physical or emotional wounds. And it always takes time to find the perfect loving home.
