Kahlua's Story...
Kahlua is a very sweet, loving, gorgeous and snugly, one-year-old, 45-pound, fawn female American Staffordshire Terrier-mix looking for a loving home. This cuddle bug is such a nice girl; she is full of kisses. Kahlua walks beautifully on leash and does well with other dogs. This cuddly girl knows how to sit on command and takes treats very gently. She is very healthy, de-wormed, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on preventative. Her adoption fee of $200 benefits rescued dogs. To meet and possibly adopt Kahlua, please contact JJ at jojoann1c3@sbcglobal.net or 708-652-3475. She is being kenneled in West Chicago, Illinois.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kahlua, a Chicago American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Chicago, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
