Tom's Story...
Hello I am Tom and I'm 5 years old. If you think I look like I got beat up, you would be right. Life hasn't been very fair to me lately and I'm not very happy. My mom that has had me since I was little has gone to the Rainbow Bridge to wait for me and none of the relatives want me. I sure miss my mom. She let me up on the table to wait for tidbits from her dinner and we both loved sleeping together. I kept her warm and she would always fall asleep petting my back. Ahhh...heaven. My mom had the best lap and I was always on it while we knitted or watched TV. I loved to give her kitty kisses and tell her how much I loved her. Some people called me spoiled, but my mom and I knew that we loved to be together and they were just jealous. Even though I miss my mom so much I know my mom would want me to be happy and find another forever family to love with all my heart and be loved back. Will you be that family? Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tom, a Yorba Linda Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Yorba Linda, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Yorba Linda.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yorba Linda already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yorba Linda breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yorba Linda paves the way for another one to be saved.
