Tux's Story...
Tux is a short haired black and white cat. He was born in june 08 and brought to the shelter in 10. He loves to run and is very social. He loves to play and is a beautiful black and white coloring. He likes other dogs, people and cats. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and house trained. I can be shy at first, but once I get to know you, I love to be the center of attention. I have tested negative for FIV and FELV, I am current on my FVRCP vaccinations, and I am microchipped. My adoption fee is a bargain considering all that has been done for me

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tux, a El Cajon Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
