Grunt- no more applications's Story...
Grunt is a 3 yr old English Bulldog who was surrendered when his family couldn't take care of him during this tough economic time. Grunt is a big boy 71# and our vet says he needs to lose about 11#. He was never really socialized with other dogs so it is so much fun to watch him now- he is great with them- very excited to see all the different sizes in his foster home. He gets along great with the cat. Grunt is a little protective of his food with other dogs but other than that we cannot find anything wrong with this big boy (hey he just likes privacy when he eats). He is a very active boy despite being a bit overweight so we know that with the right home and right diet he will slim down in no time. His adoption fee is $400. for more information on this wonderful boy please email rehomeadog@yahoo.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grunt- no more applications, a Glastonbury English Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Bulldog for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a English Bulldog dog from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Bulldog breeders who help with English Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
