My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

JR is very affectionate and loves to lay on the sofa beside us and be petted. He is very active in the morning when we first get up. After he runs around the house and yard, he calms down and is happy to sleep or lay around and be petted. He is not hyper all of the time but he can be very active. In the morning he goes into the downstairs room and brings out his toys one by one until he has all of them out so he can play with them. Then he goes and gets his blankie and his little bed and brings them out into the den room. I think he wants to be with everyone. . He throws toys into the air and plays with them. He sometimes tears up the toys if they have stuffing. I expect this and just pick up the stuffing and throw it away. You cannot leave food on the edge of the counter. He can jump up and get anything he wants---and he is a good eater. He loves to play and he loves to have his ball or any of his toys thrown for him to run and get. JR is a happy boy and has not ever tried to run away. I have no doubt that he will be a great dog for anyone who will love him, give him affection and take good care of him. I believe that he had not had much affection in the past. He really seemed to be starved for affection. He knows how to sit and I think he would be a smart and very trainable friend and a faithful pet, Again, please help us find this darling little guy a good home. dfwjrt@yahoo.com
