Casandra's Story...
My name is Casandra. I am approximately 3 years old. As you can see I am a very pretty little girl. I am a little shy but very sweet and loving. I get along very well with other kitties and would be ok in a home with other friendly pets. I love to play and snuggle. I am a very good girl and would make a wonderful companion and lap kitty. I have tested negative for feline leukemia and aids, am up to date with my shots and am spayed. If you would like to meet me or would like to know more about me, please call my foster mommy, Ruby, at 908 638 8904 (8/10)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Casandra, a Frenchtown American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Frenchtown, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Frenchtown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Frenchtown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Frenchtown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Frenchtown paves the way for another one to be saved.
