Hi! My name is Butch but they call me "Happy" ~~ as I am the happiest and sweetest boy in the world! I love everyone (except I'm not to fond of the kitty-kats) . I am 6 yrs young and just LOVE to be petted. I am a beautiful brindle coloring with a short stocky body and the head of a gorgeous Shepherd. I've got great ears ~~ don't ya think?? I am a sweet, sweet boy who enjoys "leaning" into my people. I walk nicely on lead (no pulling) , I'm neutered and up to date on vaccinations ( how great is that!!). I would just love a home to call my own. If you are interested in adopting me please contact Monica at MMAGOR@YAHOO.COM or 516-457-8584. Please note: adoption fee and pre-adoption application required for the wonderful dog. This is a courtesy listing ~~ this dog is located in Great Neck , NY 11021

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Butch, a Smithtown Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Smithtown, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Smithtown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smithtown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smithtown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smithtown paves the way for another one to be saved.
