KATIE's Story...
Hi! My name is Katie. I am 8 1/2 years old and have been with my family my whole life. They are moving and can't take me a long so they have asked Lab Rescue to help them find a new home for me. I am an extremely friendly dog and love humans. I have been around other dogs but need proper introduction. I walk okay on a leash, but do much better with a harness.
I have been well loved, but may have been rewarded with food a bit too much. Can you help me get back to my girlish figure by the holidays?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

KATIE, a San Diego Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
