CHLOE's Story...
Hi, I am Chloe! I am around 3, possibly 4 years old. MMR saved me from a kill shelter in S.E. Idaho after my family abandoned me in the shelter night drop. I am good with other non-reactive dogs, and friendly with people of all ages. Due to my size, however, I would be best in a home with children strong enough to push me away if I get too playful. I am house trained and very smart. I know sit, down, stay (I respond to this more like it's a suggestion), shake, beg (I squat back on my haunches and raise my front feet), and come. I walk well on leash once the excitement of heading out the door is over. Oh, and I LOVE water!! Just spray, sprinkle, or dump it on me, or let me jump in it, I don't care, I even love to make a mess with my drinking water!!! I do need to lose some weight, since my last family evidently didn't know that just because I act hungry doesn't mean I need to eat. I am otherwise healthy and very busy, and would love an active home where I could go hiking, biking, swimming, and running. Surely there is someone out there looking for a loving and well trained girl like me?

STATUS/LOCATION: Available. Chloe is in foster care with Moonsong, Chubbuck, ID., 208-705-7448.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CHLOE, a Boise Alaskan Malamute dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Alaskan Malamute for sale in Boise, or seeking a Alaskan Malamute dog from a breeder in Boise.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boise already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boise breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Alaskan Malamute breeders who help with Alaskan Malamute rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boise paves the way for another one to be saved.
