My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My adoption fee has been reduced in an effort to help me get to a new home before I end up at the pound -- my new adoption fee is $275.

My name is Zodicus, it is a Greek name meaning Full Of Life, which I AM! I was rescued by my family from the local shelter when I was 12 weeks old. My mom was a purebred St. Bernard, but we are really sure about my dad, possibly a lab. I currently weigh about 56 lbs. My birthday is November 24, 2009, so I'm 9 months old. I am housebroken and go to the door when I need to go out. I am big love bug and just can't get enough loving! Kids are just fine with me - when they are scared of me, I will lie down submissively so they know they don't need to be scared of me just because I'm a big boy. NO CATS please! They just get me way too excited and I really want to chase them. My foster mom says it would just be best not to tempt me. I don't like to be left outside alone - and am big enough to jump a 4 ft fence. I am good with other dogs, but if around a submissive dog I will take on the role of the dominant dog (hey - one of us has to be in charge, right?) and around a dominant dog, I'm okay to take on the submissive role. I am used to being crated and need to be, as I'm still a puppy and could get into mischief. It also helps for me to get good exercise before you leave me for a few hours. Even though I'm a big boy - I really believe I'm a lapdog. I like to snuggle in bed, but also don't mind sleeping on the floor beside you. I love to run and play -- so I think a big fenced yard would be really cool! I know the commands "Sit", "Stay", "Come", "Down, and "Leave It". My foster mom says that I am loving, caring, energetic, and smart! I can't wait to find my forever home because I'm very sad my family cannot keep me. If you think you are that family, please email the group at forrescuetn@gmail.com for an application.
