Facts about Butch

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Tiger Striped
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Hi there. I'm Butch. I was born outside to a feral barn kitty around March, 2009. Needless to say, since my mommy was feral, I too was feral. I am starting to come around but I still have a ways to go. I so want to trust people. I will usually play with them at a distance but I am not so sure about the touchy/feely stuff yet :-)
I really love to be with other cats. If you visit me at the sanctuary you will probably find me lounging on the couch wrapped around others, or on a climbing shelf with one of my siblings. I would love to have visitors, maybe even a family. I know the right person for me is out there somewhere, I just have to find someone willing to give me time and extra love and attention. ~Butch
UPDATE from Butch's foster home 3/10/2011: Butch started out very fearful and shy. He's doing fine now! He likes to follow people around demanding attention! He will run in front, and then stop and fall to his side, waiting for his tummy rubs. Butch cries and talks for attention, and has discovered the joys of sleeping on the bed! Butch would prefer a nice quiet home with people who will be home more often than not! He likes to play with other cats and dogs, and enjoys a nice game of Feather Toy when he can!
