Jalin's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Jalin's Story...
Jalin is a 12 year old black/tan long hair dachshund. Jalin was removed from a hoarder, and her condition is not at its best... Jalin is very over-weight and is currently on a healthy diet to get her down to a comfortable size. She will need a dental as her teeth are in very poor condition. Jalin also has a growth on her lower jar that needs to be removed. We are happy to report that she loves attention and is a very sweet old soul. Jalin came into rescue with her house-mate Jacob (see additional information). We would love to keep them together so they can spend the rest of their lives together! We are working on house breaking issues, and she seems to be doing well with that. Jalin just needs a wonderful home to spend the rest of her life in comfort and be pampered a bit. If you are interested in Jalin, or would like to fill out an application, please email us at k9scome1st@aol.com
****UPDATE*****
Jalin has recently had her teeth cleaned and the growth on her lip removed. She has lost weight and is the perfect little companion for someone that wants a little dachshund to love them!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jalin, a Ft. Myers Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Ft. Myers, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Ft. Myers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft. Myers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft. Myers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft. Myers paves the way for another one to be saved.
