Sandy's Story...
Holy cow look at this sweet face!!!!!!!! Sandy is the sweetest dog without an ounce of aggression (I'm mentioning this because the media just LOVES to slander these dogs and most, if not 99.9% of the time, it's unjustified. The problem lies with the so-called owners - but I won't stand on the soapbox here!). Anyway - back to this gorgeous gal. Sandy is a Rottie mix with a nice long tail (yay!). She has some wavy fur in the back and tail and a little tiny bit of white in her chest. Her ears are adorable - dontcha think? She is very sweet, loves people, and is doing well with our other dogs. She's about two years old and would love a warm home of her own. We saved her from the kill shelter. She's **very** thin at the moment so we are helping her with the Bobbi "diet" of dog food and home cooked roasted chicken. For immediate consideration, please download our application from www.bobbicares.petfinder.org and email it to bobbicares2@aol.com. Thank you so much! Arf said Sandy :o)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sandy, a Freeport Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever for sale in Freeport, or seeking a Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Freeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Freeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Freeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Freeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
