Amos's Story...
Truth be told, I may not be a prophet …but I am pretty darn good at predicting things….Like, I predict that you think I am pretty darn cute… Ok, so that one wasn’t so tough. It’s obvious that I am cute. Sweet too, and friendly. Playful, yep I’m really playful too. I am great with other dogs, so I definitely wouldn’t mind living with another dog. Kids, I love them too, even cats are fine by me. Training, well I have had a touch of that, I’m housebroken and I am crate trained already, so that is a nice start. Ready for my next prediction? I predict that you are going to rush right in and adopt me! 7 months old-12lbs. My adoption fee is $220 and includes; neuter, microchip, reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amos, a Portland Jack Russell Terrier/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Pug for sale in Portland, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Pug dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Pug breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
