Sandy in Seguin's Story...
Sandy is a little JR mix puppy. She was found wandering all alone on the beach covered with fleas and starving. She is about 4 months old and when grown will weigh about 30 pounds. She is mainly white with a couple of tan spots on her body and tail. All she wants to do is play around and get her tummy rubbed. She loves everyone and is very friendly. At first, like all puppies, she is a tiny bit shy, but warms up very quickly. If you have another dog for her to play with she would be in doggie Heaven. Her puppy shots and a fecal have been done and she is a healthy little girl. Sandy is ready for a new family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sandy in Seguin, a San Antonio Jack Russell Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier puppy from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
