Buddy's Story...
Howdy! My name is Buddy, and my family told the folks here at the shelter that they didn’t want me anymore. The kids that shared the home with me weren’t paying any attention to me, so my 3 year old life has been spent mostly outdoors. Despite this, I have quickly learned to love the finer things in life that I had never known before now. My favorite are squeaky toys! They are really cool. I think I have a lot to offer my forever family, including the fact that I’m really cute! I look like a mini-black lab! I am about 25 pounds, up-to-date on my shots, already neutered and ready to go home with you. I am a good car passenger and climb right in, because I enjoy the adventure. I like men, women, kids, other dogs and cats, too. All I need is some love and attention, which is what every dog needs. So c’mon! Call to find out about me today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Huntingdon Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Huntingdon, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Huntingdon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntingdon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntingdon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntingdon paves the way for another one to be saved.
