Facts about Binky

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Binky, a female brown tabby, was rescued at Garden Ridge Pottery as a 4 month old kitten. We found her all curled up in the back of the parking lot near a little patch of woods. After investigating, it was discovered her siblings had been run over days before. Who knows where the little one's mom was. She is very petite and became tamed immediately, apparently deciding the "home" life was a much better one! She is pretty outgoing and loves to win people over when they come to visit. She is a small adult cat (about 8lbs) and would be a wonderful new addition to your family. Binky didn't like going up to adoption days in the beginning so was overlooked a lot. She's been with Street Cat Rescue a long time and is anxiously awaiting her loving permanent home! A must see cat!!!

About Street Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

I founded Street Cat Rescue almost ten years ago, after TNR'ing (trap-neuter-return) some cats at my work. I began to take in kittens and nice cats that we would find, and help them have a second chance by adopting out. We provide shelter and food for over a 100 cats daily that are TNR'd. I love what I do and am proud of the work we have done to date. We have helped over 600 cats to date. We also help the sick and injured living on the streets that have no one to help them.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are at the Petsmart at Balcones Woods/183 almost every saturday from 11am-4pm.. Adoption times/places can also be seen on our website - home page.

We have periodic adoption events throughout the year at various places.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption fee varies, depending on age and health. All cats are combo tested for FELV/FIV, spayed/neutered/vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and more. We do have all adopters sign a contract.

We do a home visit and a vet reference check and have guidelines in adopting out our cats. (criteria). We ensure each cat is placed in the best home/match possible.
