LingLing's Info...

LingLing's Story...
LingLing is a very gentle and friendly, one-year-old, 40-pound female Shar Peis looking for a loving home. LingLing is a black soft horsecoat. LingLing lived with a family with four young children and she was very good with them. Sadly, the family could no longer afford to care for their pets so they gave them up to rescue. LingLing is great with the other dogs in her foster home, and her tail is always happily wagging. She is housebroken, knows the command sit, and take treats very gently from your fingers. She is full of kisses and loves to play ball. She is very healthy, de-wormed, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on preventative. Her adoption fee of $300 benefits the rescued dogs of We Luv Paws Shar Pei Rescue Group. To meet and possibly adopt LingLing, please e-mail Carol at weluvpawsilrescue@yahoo.com so she can send you an adoption application. To follow up on your application and meet the dogs, please contact their foster mom Debbie at kruegerd55@gmail.com or 847-362-3056.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LingLing, a Chicago Shar Pei dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shar Pei for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Shar Pei dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shar Pei breeders who help with Shar Pei rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
