Estrella's Story...
Estrella came to us in April of 2010. She’s a 4 year old beautiful sorrel Quarterhorse mare with a flaxen mane & tail. She’s approximately 15.1 hh and all muscle! She’s a great riding horse and is good for the intermediate rider. Not only is she beautiful, but she’s got a loving “horseNality” too! Her tail was chewed off by her yearling foal that she was just separated from.By the looks of the length of her mane, her tail will grow out to be long, lush & beautiful!

We’ve been evaluating Estrella on the trails and she’s perfect! She’s young enough to train to do whatever you want…she’d be great for barrel racing or pole bending!! Her adoption fee is $700.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Estrella, a Greeneville Quarterhorse was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Quarterhorse for sale in Greeneville, or seeking a Quarterhorse from a breeder in Greeneville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greeneville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greeneville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Quarterhorse breeders who help with Quarterhorse rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greeneville paves the way for another one to be saved.
