Leslie's Story...
Hello! My name is Leslie. I was born the third week of April. I am a long haired female tuxedo. I love playing with cat toys, especially wand toys, and my brother Frank and sister Chandler. I really like food, especially chicken or turkey baby food, and will do almost anything for a nibble. I am comfortable with dogs and allow them to get very close to me. I was found outside when I was 10 weeks old, so I am still shy around humans, especially new ones. I’d much rather come to you than have you come to me, but I am getting more outgoing every day! Once I am comfortable in your house, I love to explore. I will do best in a home where my new owners will have at least fifteen minutes twice a day to spend socializing me by playing with me, feeding me and petting me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leslie, a Morgan Hill Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Morgan Hill, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Morgan Hill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Morgan Hill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Morgan Hill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Morgan Hill paves the way for another one to be saved.
