Frank's Story...
Hello! My name is Frank. I was born the third week of April. I am a short haired orange male tabby. I love playing with cat toys, especially wand toys, and wrestling with my sisters Leslie and Chandler. I love to purr loudly while lying on your lap, getting petted and getting a belly rub. Sometimes you can hear me purring from across the room! I will tolerate dogs in my home, but don’t like it when they get too close. I was found outside when I was 10 weeks old, so I am still shy around humans, especially new ones, but I’m getting more friendly and outgoing every day! Once I am comfortable in your house, I love to explore. I will do best in a home where my new owners will have at least fifteen minutes twice a day to spend socializing me by playing with me, feeding me and petting me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frank, a Morgan Hill Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Morgan Hill, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Morgan Hill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Morgan Hill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Morgan Hill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Morgan Hill paves the way for another one to be saved.
