Snowy's Story...
I’m a gentle and loving soul, sweet like snowcone, pretty as freshly fallen snow. Call me Snowy….. I’m a like a miniature lab, only 30 pounds. Oh ya, and I’m on the mellow side too! You ever seen a miniature lab that’s mellow, quiet, loving, and easy to be around? Did you know that I’m great with other dogs too, I did well meeting the cat today too. And even though there is not a lot known about my history- see it’s a bit of a mystery since I was found as a stray- I believe that I would be a wonderful addition to just about any family! I should really meet you before I make any promises though…Anyway I’m a total love, what more could you want? 1 year old-30lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes; microchip, spay, reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snowy, a Portland Labrador Retriever/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Corgi for sale in Portland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Corgi dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Corgi breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
