Okay, we know he is not a dachshund but he was turned over to us by a breeder who wanted to clear out her stock and start over. So she turned over Stepper along with some puppies who were dachshund/pomeranian mixes. The puppies have found wonderful forever homes, but Stepper now needs a home.
He loves to be a lap dog, and would love to be a spoiled rotten only child, but also has a bit of play in him as well and does play a bit with younger dogs at times.
He has a tendency to run out if a door or gate is open, so someone with small children who can leave doors/gates open would not be a good situation for him. He needs to be in a home that will spoil him rotten and care for him for the rest of his life.
He is a good boy who deserves to be spoiled. He does have a pom coat, which pom owners will understand. Basically, Stepper will need to be groomed on a regular basis so that he does not get matted. This will include brushing on a regular basis and a trip to the groomers once a month or so, for a true grooming!
He is fully vetted and vaccinated.
Tax deductable adoption fees have not been set yet.
If you are interested in adopting Stepper, please fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stepper, a Garden Grove Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Garden Grove, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Garden Grove.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Garden Grove already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Garden Grove breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Garden Grove paves the way for another one to be saved.
