My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

9/27/2010: Pretty Lacy has arrived in New England after her long journey! Her foster mom reports that Lacy has made herself right at home and is quite comfortable in her new surroundings. She is doing a wonderful job with the cats, the dog and the people in her new household! Her foster mom feels Lacy would thrive in a house with a dog that is low key, or as an only dog too.

Lacy seems to be an energetic girl (she almost does a somersault when she is really excited!) and would love a large yard to play in. She loves people a lot and, in fact, jumped right into her foster dad's lap to say hello and give kisses right away!

Lacy loves to play with toys, especially tug-o-war! She is very involved with the activity going on around her, and just loves to be with her people.

9/3/10: LACY is a Labrador Retriever mix and is 18 months old. She has one of those special faces that looks like she is always smiling at you. Lacy is a bright young dog who knows the sit command and should be easy to train. She looks forward to daily walks and loves to run and play in the shelter yard. Lacy is a friendly, energetic dog and is great with people of all ages. She has a loving personality and enjoys being hugged and petted and getting belly rubs. Lacy has not been around many dogs, but was polite with the ones we introduced her too. Lacy would probably be best as the only dog in the house. She was friendly to the cats she met.

Lacy is currently with our partner shelter in the south but we would love to bring her north to find her forever home! Please visit our web site to find out more about our application for adoption process.
