My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

On September 4th Jack arrived to us as cute as can be. He is approx. 9 weeks old and weighs approx. 13.5 pounds. He is a love bug. A sweet little bog. Jack will grow to be a large dog. He is white with a little fawn color by his ears. Jack is fostered with children. Jack was very calm in the car on the way to his foster home. When he arrived home he received his first bath. He was not quite sure what to make of the bath. He has started his house training and he is doing well fast! Jack seems like a laid back easy going boy. He is very, very sweet and loves the dogs within the foster home. Jack is still taking it all in right now. UPDATE: Jack was a little bit scared at first. Within the first two days he was fine! He just required a short adjustment to his foster home. He is now playful. He follows everyone around and is exploring the house. He loves the dogs that live in his foster home. He goes outside with them likes he's one of the gang. He is very very sweet, has a great appetite and is doing really well with his potty training. He's really so sweet, very, very gentle, calm and affectionate. If you would like to adopt Jack, please complete and submit an application for adoption by clicking the Sheryl's Den link.

This pup was rescued from TN. The pup was rescued from a kill shelter and fostered in a private home until arrival at our rescue. Our rescue is 100% foster home based. We do not have a shelter or kennel. They are cared for by a loving family until adopted. Each pup has had their first vet exam, a shot, and de-worming. We make sure they have no fleas prior to going into our foster homes. They are fostered out of the shelter at least two weeks or more prior to adopting to monitor health. We take their care seriously!

Please note that the adoption event will take place on Thursday evening September 16th at approx. 5:30 p.m. After your application is approved, we will contact you and arrange for you to meet the pup on that date.

#####PLEASE BE SURE YOUR APPLICATION IS COMPLETE OR IT WILL NOT BE PROCESSED. PLEASE BE SURE TO LIST THE NAME AND NUMBER OF THE VET'S OFFICE THAT CARED FOR YOUR PRIOR OR CURRENT PET. #####

***** If you're interested in fostering we could always use the help to save more animals. A crate, food, and medical care are provided. The animals are picked up in West Milford, NJ and brought back here for adoption. The time commitment is two to two and a half weeks. Please email letting us know what town you live in and we will forward information to you. *****

Sheryl's Den has teamed up with Petfirst Health care in an effort to offer pet insurance for your adopted family member. If you wish, you can enroll once you adopt or within 20 days after your adoption. Your coverage will begin at midnight following your activation. The first month is only 5.00. If you choose to continue the pet insurance the cost would be 14.95 a month thereafter. Pet insurance protects you from the expense of vet care. No need to worry about unexpected expenses. Details: Use any veterinarian, pay your vet, send claim form to PetFirst, meet the 50.00 deductible, receive your reimbursement check in as little as two weeks. If you would like further information, you can contact PetFirst at 1-877-291-PETS.

IF YOU ADOPT a pup and live in the State of New Jersey we do have low cost spaying and neutering through the APC. There will be a 20.00 co-pay only. The pet must be adopted from our rescue, dog must be liceensed prior to surgery, supply participating vet proof of adoption, and pay the $20.00 co-pay at the time of surgery. There are vet's in each and every county in NJ that participate!
