Patches's Story...
OOOH OOOH OOOH !!!! Pick Me, Pick Me!!!
I will be the perfect size dog for an active family. I get along great with cats and dogs and kids. My mom is a blue heeler so I dont think i'll be big at all, maybe around knee high when im all done growing. I've learned to walk on a leash and im working hard on housebreaking. We aren't sure what my dad was. I was born the Sunday before Christmas so im about 4 months old now. Please let me come and be your "forever" dog! I can come to your home on April 15th.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patches, a Salem Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler for sale in Salem, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
