My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi People,
My name is Sugar (which is short for Sugar Bear) and I’m a very happy, healthy five year old. While I’m not a bichon, some of my best friends are – and I have the personality, and intelligence, of a bichon. My foster Mom says I am a sweetheart. (See my picture, aren’t I adorable?) I weigh about 16 lbs and just love to give kisses, get belly rubs, go for walks and rides in the car. And I love other dogs but please – no cats. (I think they are only good for chasing!)

Mom isn’t sure about what kind of mix I am. Perhaps I’m a Shih Tzu, Lhasa Apso or a terrier. I have fluffy strawberry blonde fur that is very soft to touch. She says to be sure to tell you that I’m really cute - and that I smile a lot.

I’m very good with children of all ages and sizes - I just love them! Mom also says to tell you that I greet everyone by dancing on my back feet. (She thinks that is incredibly cute
and that you will think that, too!)
