FAITHE's Story...

THIS IS FAITHE.....and she really did earn her name, considering what she likely has been thru in her short 1.5-2 yrs of life. Have you ever noticed how when people want to show a dog at its cutest, they always take a picture with the dog’s head cocked to one side? Like the RCA Victor dog, for example, or the dog from the Little Rascals? Well, we think our little Faithe -- who is a very petite (13 lbs soaking wet!), black-and-tan cocker or possibly Cocker-Cavalier mix -- is ALWAYS at her cutest! Faithe has a [more than likely] permanent slight head tilt (due to some form of trauma, either human-inflicted or possibly the result of a long-untreated inner ear infection). We all know it’s a sad story, but don’t tell Faithe! She’s a happy, silly, goofy, cuddly youngster who loves to do what all dogs her age love to do: run, play, snuggle, get treats…. and show her exalted enthusiasm with her doggie friends. Despite her history, Faithe’s hearing is great and her head tilt appears to be her only neurological symptom. She’s healthy and vigorous…. and has the biggest, roundest, deepest Cocker Spaniel saucer eyes any Cocker-lover could hope for. We’ve had her checked and rechecked and the vet says all she needs is a forever home and someone to give her the love she’s never had. Because Faithe is young and playful, we would recommend and prefer a home where there is another dog, but we would consider a stay-at-home owner, too, under the right circumstances. Faithe is ok in a gated area for short periods, although it’s not her favorite place in the world, and her housebreaking is coming along. The idea home would be on who will appreciate Faithe's uniqueness and have patience during her training....she will make a family a wonderful companion and she deserves all the love in the world! Might that be with you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

FAITHE, a Los Angeles Cocker Spaniel/Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel/Cavalier King Charles Spaniel for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel/Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel/Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel/Cavalier King Charles Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
