Puddy's Story...
Hi, my name is Puddy (my name is pronouced as if Tweety Bird were saying "Putty-Tat") and I am a 2 year old, spayed female. I have bounced around a lot from home to home and I would really like to find a forever home, where someone will love me for the rest of my life. When I was a kitten I lived with a lady who had to give me up when she moved. I then went to live with a very nice lady, who took good care of me, but when she was forced to move I went to go live with her son. Sadly, he was allergic to me, and with no other place to go, I ended up at VPAS. When I came to VPAS the doctors discovered that I have a heart murmur. This condition does not seem to be affecting my life at all right now and otherwise I appear healthy. Because I've lived in so many homes I am used to most animals (although there is always some hissing at first) and to children. I am extremely affectionate, and would make the perfect addition to any home. I am good for my baths and nail trims, and I enjoy being brushed. I am used to both indoors and outdoors and I would like to have a home where I can have access to a safe outdoor place (once I've stayed indoors for a few weeks to get used to the place first, of course.) If you are looking for a sweet and affectionate friend, look no further. Please come to Petcetera in Tillicum Mall (Victoria, BC) and visit with me, I am looking forward to meeting you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Puddy, a Saanichton Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Saanichton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Saanichton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saanichton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saanichton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saanichton paves the way for another one to be saved.
