Moppet's Story...
Moppet is a little 12 week old golden retriever/shephard mix puppy. He has medium length hair, will probably be medium size and he is just precious. Moppet is a little shy when you first meet him but after he knows you he'll love you! He gets along fine with other dogs and cats and he likes to play with toys too. He and his siblings and mom were abandoned when someone moved away and didnt take their pets. They're now looking for a family to love them! Because he is so young he will not be neutered before coming to his new home. His new family will receive a 50$ rebate when they have it done at 6 months of age.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moppet, a Harrisonburg Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
