My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Suki is a gentle soul who wants nothing more than to lie on her new bed and snooze the day away. It appears as though she has spent her life confined in a small space and she is very timid of the whole new world that has opened up for her. She is very submissive to the pack in her foster home (two female Boxers and a male Boston Terrier) and does not venture far from her bed.

She is learning the joys of being outside, lying in the sun and mingling with the other dogs. Suki doesn’t know what toys are for, but has quickly learned that her foster mom is there to give affection! Suki has some weight to put on, but will probably be less than 60 pounds when she fills out. She has a lot to learn and would love a forever home with someone who has endless patience and will give her the pampering that she deserves. Once she is spayed and goes through heartworm treatment, she will be ready for adoption. She is being fostered by Diana in Tallahassee, FL.

Foster home update:
Suki has blossomed into your typical Boxer. She follows her foster mom everywhere and is now crate trained and housebroken. She has been spayed and will soon begin heartworm treatment. Suki has shown a fondness for children and loves interacting with the other Boxers in the house. Although she is a young dog (2-3 years old), she has a calm energy and is very inquisitive about what is going on around her. She walks extremely well on a leash – no pulling at all! Suki is just figuring out what toys are for and can occasionally be seen carrying one around or throwing it in the air and pouncing on it. She would do best in a home with another dog and would love a forever home with children. If she sounds like the perfect Boxer for you, please fill out an application today!
