Gracie's Story...
This sweet and adorable 7 pound, 4 year old, Maltese found herself in the Riverside Animal Shelter. Little Gracie was filthy and matted but thought she was the cutest girl in the world. Wagging her tail and begging us to “pick her”, we just could not say no!

Now that Gracie is out of the shelter life she has really had the chance to blossom. She is extremely friendly with people and bonds very easily. She has quickly become the little white shadow in her foster home, following her foster mom’s every move. Gracie also seems unfazed by the other foster doggies and kitty in her temporary home.

This little gal is house trained to use a dog door and so far, has a clean accident report. She is an easy going girl and would be a great addition to someone with older children or as a new “baby” to a family without children. Miss Gracie has a moderate activity level and absolutely loves her walks but equally loves her snuggle time.

Our little Miss Gracie is an all around great gal and will be an easy addition to her new family. All she needs is a little love!

PLEASE NOTE: We will have MANY requests to adopt this dog. If you are serious about adopting her, please visit our website at and fill out the application. Once completed, please send via email to or fax it to 949 679-7443. We will review your application and contact you as soon as possible.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie, a Irvine Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
