My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Well Hello there! My name is YaYa, and foster mom tells me that I am one of the sweetest fosters she has ever had. I’m a shy little girl at first, but all you have to do is bring out the food and I will show you my happy dance! I sleep in my crate at night and when no one's home and I am quiet and keep it clean and dry. The only time I fuss is in the morning when I wake up and am hungry and the people keep hitting the snooze button; I'm not ok with that! I am sometimes shy around strangers and do get easily scared, so I probably need a quieter house without rambunctious munchkins around all the time. I’m great with the kids who come to visit because they are told to be calm and not screaming or chasing me. I am learning to go potty outside, but I sometimes forget and have to be reminded to go out. Now that I'm in a routine I'm doing much better, but I do still need to be reminded. My favorite things in the evening are snuggling up on the couch and getting my ears and belly scratched. I LOVE to be curled up between 2 people on the couch so they BOTH will pet me!

I get along great with the other dogs here, and I do like playing with my foster brother, but I would be just fine being by myself too. Mainly I am a sweet loving petite little girl who is looking forward to spending the rest of my years living the life of luxury in a loving home. How does that sound to you?

YaYa started having seizures while in her foster home and is now on anti-seizure medication to help keep them under control. With the seizure episodes, she spent 7-10 days of the month gearing up for, or recovering from, the seizures. The medication is fairly inexpensive, and allows her to lead
