Spottie's Story...
Spottie was found by a good samaritan who happens to be a vet technician. She has been unable to locate his owners so Spottie is looking for a new, loving home. As you can see in the pictures, Spottie is an adorable, loveable, sweet puppy. He loves to play and is good with kids and other dogs. He needs to find a guardian who will commit to his training and upbringing so he can grow up to be a great dog. Spottie's foster mom says he is learning to go potty outside and doing pretty good. He is beginning to understand commands such as "No" and will sit for a treat. What a love boy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spottie, a Berkeley Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
