Oliver's Story...
Update 9/7/10: Is there anything cuter than a pile of kittens?!

We have a littler of four beautiful black kittens available for adoption. Their mom was homeless and pregnant. A woman contacted our rescue and asked us to help her. We took the cat in and just a couple of days later, she gave birth to these adorable babies.

Oliver is a black, medium-haired male kitten. He and his siblings just turned 4 weeks old. Oliver is a typical curious kitten, exploring his new world.

Oliver and his siblings are still nursing and will not be ready to go to a home until around 9/23/10. We are posting them now so we can begin taking applications and have them lined-up with homes for when they are weaned and medically ready.

If you are interested in adopting Oliver, please fill out an online application at www.sadiemaefoundation.org

$75 adoption donation, vet reference check and home visit apply. This kitten is FIV/Leukemia negative. It will be be given a full vet checkup, deworming treatment and first round of vaccines prior to adoption.

**NOTE: Our adoption agreement specifically prohibits adopters from declawing. There are alternatives to declawing and we'd be happy to discuss the alternatives with you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oliver, a Manchester Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Manchester, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Manchester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manchester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manchester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manchester paves the way for another one to be saved.
