Darcie's Story...
Hi, my name is Darcie. I was born on April 2, 2008. I was born in a barn and when I wanted to go into the house more and more often (but couldn't because of an unfriendly cat already living there), my first human mom knew she had to find me a great forever home. That is why she called Two Left Paws. When my last litter of kittens was six weeks old, I was brought into TLP and am now living with my foster mom. She has given me and my five babies lots of soft beds, toys and good food, but I need to be someplace where I can be an even more important part of the family.
There is not a mean bone in my body. I am easy going, and love to be petted. I'm just learning to live in a house, but I think it is pretty nifty. People are around to pet me and to play with my babies. I am a very pretty girl, and have been around cats and dogs my whole life. I've even played with children, and think I could live with them if they are kind to me. Wouldn't you love to love me and let me love you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Darcie, a Sheboygan Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Sheboygan, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Sheboygan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sheboygan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sheboygan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sheboygan paves the way for another one to be saved.
