I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with cats.
Hi, my name is Mousie-Blue Jay. I was born in Mar 2010. I was born with no tail and was diagnosed as Manx Syndrome. This is a big problem for me, because I have no control over my bowels. I can not urinate by my own, therefore, my caregiver needs to express my bladder to let out of urine. My stool comes out whenever my colon full. And sometimes, I will have diarrhea or watery stool that make me messy .
I'm hoping to find a loving home.I love to play and run around, & I'm very lovable. But I am a special-needs cat and you will need to express my bladder every 8 hours (My current caregiver has a job that keeps her away long hours and can only express my bladder twice a day.) I am a really good boy and cooperate in expressing bladder. Please discuss this with Ellen of Cats In Need at Chino, CA.
The average life span of Manx Syndrome cat is around 2 or 3 years. As I get older I will suffer from mega colon, (which has already started), and my hind legs will become paralyzed. When this happens itI will get very painful, and it will be time to let me go.
But I promise you lots of love & laughs until then.
My caregiver rescued me and my siblings, at 3 months old from her backyard. Cats In Need is helping us to find homes.
