Katie's Story...
Please meet Katie. Katie is a 10 week old female kitten. Katie is absolutely adorable. She has the softest fur I have ever felt on a cat. She feels like a stuffed animal but she purrs! She is soft and fluffy and sweet. Katie is light gray and white, with a white nose, neck, belly and legs. She has the cutest little spot of gray on her chin. Katie has the best personality. She is outgoing and friendly. She adjusts to new situations very quickly. She quickly made friends with the other foster kittens here and even the dogs! She purrs and cuddles and lets you know you are the love of her life.

Katie was rescued from a kill shelter. While in her cage, she talked to us constantly and put her paws out the cage to play. We could not leave her! She was begging us to save her and now she is searching for her forever family to love her.

Katie tested negative for FeLV/FIV. She has received her first distemper vaccine and been dewormed. She is a healthy, happy girl.

Katie is being fostered in northwest Charlotte. To meet this wonderful kitten, please email Beth at bethie3300@carolina.rr.com today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Katie, a Charlotte Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
