Pebbles's Story...
Pebbles reminds us of her namesake: she is cute, alert, warm-hearted, and playful. Pebbles is apt to lay on her back in the grass in a quest for a belly-rub, but will get up obediently when it is time to continue on the walk. She is very aware of her surroundings, spotting another dog or an unfamiliar person from a great distance. She is very playful with other dogs, and would probably do very well in a home with a well-matched dog. Pebbles is appropriately wary of strangers, but warms up quickly when she determines they are trustworthy. She will make a loyal companion and an engaging, energetic playmate to those in her forever-home.

Act quickly to adopt Pebbles. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pebbles, a Berkeley American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
