Shiloh's Story...
Meet Shiloh

I am such a sweet, sweet angel of a cat. I may not always come to you when you want, but when I want attention, your heart will melt! Bedtime is especially when I love to get in the last bit of petting before I go to sleep. I am a shy little creature that had a bumpy start in life. I was rescued from a grocery store parking lot, living under a bush with my Mom and brothers. We all made it safely out of there, and now I am looking forward to a new home with a few less kitties running around. I get along with other cats, but I may just take a little bit of time to warm up to them. I am a young, adult cat, approximately 14 months old.

She is up to date on shots, spayed, microchipped, and FELV-FIV negative. Her adoption fee is $50. If you would like to meet me please email amandadwright@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shiloh, a Houston Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
