My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kato is about 2 years old and although he's still quite young, Kato has been through a lot.

Found at a high kill shelter in Los Angeles, Kato was wasting away in a run all alone. Severely underweight probably stemming from not eating due to stress, Kato needed to get out of the shelter and into a loving home ASAP.

We believe Kato was abused before ending up at the shelter. His fostering have been working with him & teaching him to enjoy people again and he now knows how rewarding human attention can be. He's become quite the cuddler! Kato follows his foster mom everywhere she goes, room to room, and is most content laying at her feet. He does get along with other dogs but can be food aggressive. Kato just needs to learn now there will always be another meal.
