Lavender Gooms's Story...
Ready... set... pounce! Oh, Lavender Gooms isn't going for a toy. She's constantly on the lookout for possible petting opportunities. Once she makes her way onto your lap, you're not getting your lap back any time soon.

Lavender Gooms and her sister, Little Bear, were so happy in their home for two and a half years. Their owner spoiled them since they were kittens. But when a new landlord took over her lease, the sisters were no longer welcome in their own home.

Now, Lavender and Little Bear are in foster care with other cats and dogs. Lavender doesn't mind the dogs but would prefer to be the only cat or with other very passive cats. She just wants a safe place where she can be loved. That is her only wish in life.

Please call 330-397-8270 to make an appointment to meet Lavender in person. She's sure to charm you the moment she purrs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lavender Gooms, a Struthers Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Struthers, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Struthers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Struthers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Struthers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Struthers paves the way for another one to be saved.
