Sanders's Story...
Sanders is a big lovey boy. He was recently adopted but was returned to us as the owner was not the right fit. Sanders is fostered with 2 young kids, 2 small dogs, and a cat. His foster family adores him! He is completely housebroken and is crate trained as well. Being a bigger dog, Sanders would do best in a home with a true "Pack Leader". He likes to get as close as possible to you, and will sometimes jump up and/or paw at you. With firm, consistent correction, this can easily be stopped. Sanders would do best with an active family, who is home often.

Sanders is UTD on shots including rabies, neutered, and heartworm tested (negative).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sanders, a Milwaukee Labrador Retriever/Vizsla dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Vizsla for sale in Milwaukee, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Vizsla dog from a breeder in Milwaukee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Milwaukee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Milwaukee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Vizsla breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Vizsla rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Milwaukee paves the way for another one to be saved.
