Hope's Story...
Hello, my name is Hope and I am about a year old. I guess I have been looking for a good home most of my life. It's the same old story about someone wanting a cute little puppy not a grown up dog. I am looking for a home with someone who will accept me just as I am. I've been told that I am really cute and a nice dog. My foster mom loves me but she can't keep me forever. I have been spayed, have all my shots and I am doggy door trained. I must tell you that I am a little shy around new people but when I get to know you and feel safe around you we will be good friends and take good care of each other. I also like other dogs and love to play. Pick me!! Adoption includes spay surgery, shots, flea prevention, dewormer and the first bag of Science Diet dog food. A seven day trial period is included as part of the adoption so you can make sure the pet is right for your family. Please call or email for more information. Be sure to include your phone number so a volunteer can reach you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hope, a Kingwood Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie for sale in Kingwood, or seeking a Collie dog from a breeder in Kingwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kingwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kingwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie breeders who help with Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kingwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
