Whitefoot's Story...
Hi, my name is Whitefoot and I am about eight months old. I am in real good shape except for a little limp on my back leg from when I got hurt. I have lots of love to give a family that will take care of me. I get along well with other dogs, we play really nicely together. I am happy all the time. People say I am very playful and sweet. I have been neutered, have my shots, like to take baths, and I am doggy door trained. I am ready to go to a new home. Please come see me and I know you'll take me home because I am a real neat guy!! Adoption includes neuter surgery, shots, flea prevention, dewormer and first bag of Science Diet puppy food. A seven day trial period is included as part of the adoption so you can make sure the pet is right for your family. Please call or email for more information. Be sure to include your phone number so a volunteer can reach you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Whitefoot, a Kingwood Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Kingwood, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Kingwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kingwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kingwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kingwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
