Bear's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Bear's Story...
This is an energetic...energetic young boy. He is around a year old. Did I mention he is energetic? He was adopted last December by an older couple who thought they were ready for another big dog. However after nine months and their last child leaving for college he became too much for them. Bear had a tramatic start in life, he watched his brother get hit by a car, and escaped with a few scratches himself. You would never know it too look at him. He is completely housebroken, crate trained. He loves other dogs, and even cats. He attended basic obedience, but needs a refresher (which foster mom will be working on). He can go to a home with male or female dogs. He will definitely need a playmate and a yard to run in. He is microchipped, neutered and current on all shots. He is most gorgeous tan and white with amazing amber eyes! If interested please call 817-991-6801

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear, a Fort Worth American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
