My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"SHASTA" is a very sweet 2 year old boxer/pit mix that we rescued from AJ Animal Control about 6 months ago. She was on the Euthanasia List when we rescued her, and she was almost immediately adopted out because of her mellow disposition. But now, unfortunately, her owner is moving out of state, and he cannot take her with him, so we have taken her back into our rescue. Recently she was trying to make friends with some other dogs and was attacked. Her injuries were treated in an emergency surgery. She is doing very well now and is ready to find her permanent home. She loves all animals and is very playful with our small children. Shasta loves to lie in the sun, go for walks, and give kisses. Shasta really needs another chance with a compassionate owner.
